Mobiltherm heat transfer oils are high performance products intended for use in closed systems for indirect heating. They are recommended for use in systems (without warm contact with oxygen) for indirect heating and cooling in all kinds of industrial processes. Mobiltherm heat transfer oils are formulated with highly refined base oils that resist thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. They have high thermal stability and can have a very long service life without precipitation or viscosity increase. Mobiltherm heat transfer oils have good heat and viscosity transfer efficiency and are easily pumpable at both start-up and operating temperatures. They show specific heat and high thermal conductivity for faster heat dispersion. Due to their resistance to thermal cracking at recommended operating temperatures, the flash point of these oils does not increase significantly during use.
